FOR THE GLORY OF GOD, AND NOT THE WORDS OF MERE MORTALS.
Recently, I read on BBC pidgin news, on Facebook, that history has been made by Pope Francis, by supporting gay unions.
I don't know if this news is true or not, (I have seen the headline in some other media networks). If it is, then; it's a very very sad news for the Catholic Church. And it's unacceptable
Homosexuality or gay relationship is a sin, condemned in both the old, and new testaments of the Bible. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. Therefore, the church MUST at all times, condemn it without mincing words.
The church must neither legalize, nor support it, no matter the circumstances, situations, and those involved.
Those who may wish to leave the church because of this anti gay union position of the church, should leave. No matter their numbers, or social status, the church will still grow and succeed. The church is suppose to lead the congregation, and not bowing in to evil trends.
We have always had gays in the church, just like we have other sinners. We must continue to call them to repentance, and never bow to their wishes.
This news is unfortunate, and sinful. Which must never be supported in Vatican, and the office of the Bishop of Rome, of the Roman Catholic Church.
Even God knows that human beings make mistakes, therefore, this can be considered as one of those mistakes, which MUST be rescinded immediately, for the sake of God, the church, and its Holy reputation. If this is not done, a vacancy exist, which must be filled, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
I am particularly interested, because in the past, I was Julius Caesar, the 84th Emperor/Leader of the Roman Empire, who was stabbed and killed, in the Roman senate, 44 years before the coming of Jesus Christ. He was born 100 years BC.
No matter what happens, Vatican and the Roman Catholic Church, must forever condemn gay unions.
Finally, no one from any of my foreign governments, organizations, etc., should listen to anyone in Nigeria, just because they know me, or take decisions, based on the views of anyone here in Nigeria.
