INAUGURATION OF SENATOR ETENG JONES WiLLIAMS, AND SENATOR EKPENYONG ASUQUO, OF CROSS RIVER CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN SENATORIAL DISTRICTS.
At the reception in honour of Senator Eteng Jones Williams, of the Cross River central Senatorial District, and Senator Ekpenyong Asuquo, of the southern Senatorial District of Cross River state, after their inauguration as Senators of the federal republic of Nigeria, at the national assembly complex, 3 arm zone, Abuja.
I think two member of the Federal house of representatives were also part of the celebrating team.
They all are victorious members of the All progressives Congress (APC), from Cross River state.
Some of the distinguished guests, who graced the occasion, included the former governors of Cross River state, Chief Clement Ebri, and Donald Duke respectively. Others include, Senator John Owan, the 2019, APC governorship aspirant in the state, and a host of others from within and outside the State
I feel excited that they decamped from the PDP to the APC. Which happened a few months after I visited cross river, and wrote a letter to the immediate past governor, Processor Ben Ayade about my pivotal role in the 2015 victory of APC. One honour deserves another, I couldn't have missed it for anything. I missed the governorship inauguration in the state, because I had to be in the federal capital, for the Presidential inauguration.
I had to call off a trip out of Abuja, in order to attend, and honour these illustrious sons of Cross River state, and celebrate their inauguration with family, friends, kinsmen, and the entire central and southern Senatorial Districts.
APC, and the national assembly, I hand them over to you all, for a warm welcome, and all they need to deliver on their legislative duties.
