HAPPY 4TH OF JULY/INDEPENDENCE DAY TO ALL AMERICANS.
As we celebrate the independence of our great nation from the British, we must never forget our founding fathers, our Armed Forces, who fought gallantly in the eight years war of independence, and other wars that have kept America united, free, and Americans safe. And also all Americans who have contributed in one way or the other, to the great nation we all celebrate today.
On this day in 1776, the American declaration of independence, whose principal author was Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd President of the United States of America, was signed, and ratified by the Congress. Incidentally, he died on 4th July 1826, on the day the 50th anniversary of the United States of America was celebrated. And today, the the United States of America is comprised of fifty states. Americans should also remember that, Thomas Jefferson was America's first minister to France, and years later the statue of Liberty was donated to America by France. Prior to the American struggle for independence, he had founded France, and England, and was their first Kings, King Clovis 1 of France, and King Offa 1, of England respectively. He had also founded and ruled the other countries of the great 8 (G8) nations, namely, Japan, China, Italy, Russia, and Germany. And he was the first President, to begin, and end his eight years tenure in office, in the White House.
These are clear pointers, to his role in the outcome, and victory of 4th July 1776. Which we all celebrate today.
At this point, I will love to refer all Americans, and indeed the whole world, to the Bible book of Proverbs, written by King Solomon of Israel. Chapter 25, verse 2 says,
It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of Kings is to search things out.
A word is enough for the wise.
I was Thomas Jefferson, the Virginian, the former governor of the State of Virginia, the principal author of the American declaration of Independence, and 3rd President of the United States of America, and later on was, John Davison Rockefeller Snr, the first American billionaire.
We all owe ourselves, nation, and the future generations, to hold fast to the American dream, and God's own country.
