VATICAN CITY.
Is the Headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church located in Rome/Italy.
It is the church of God, which Jesus Christ talked about in the gospel of Matthew, chapter 16, verses 18 - 19. "And so I tell you, Peter: you are a rock, and on this Rock foundation I will build my church, and not even death will ever be able to overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: what you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven, and what you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven."
It is the first church on earth. Saint Peter was the first Pope, the church has had 267 Popes. The present and 267th one is Pope Leo XIV.
The Bible which is the Holy book of Christianity, was a product of the Catholic church. They selected the books, that make up the old, and new testaments, as the inspired word of God.
Other Christian churches came after the Roman Catholic church, and they all use the Holy Bible, for their teachings. Although some have made a little modifications to it. E.g, some have removed the deuterocanonical books or Apocrypha, from the old testament.
The Vatican city, is also a nation, with the Pope as the Head of government. He is also the Vicar of Rome/Bishop of Rome.
It is the smallest country in the world. It is home to the Pope, the Cardinals, other members of the clergy, and institutions.
May God forever bless His Holy church, and strengthen it with the power, and love, of the Father, cover it with the blood of the Jesus Christ, and fill it with the Holy Spirit, Amen!
And may God grant all heavenly gifts, knowledge, understanding, and wisdom to His Holy church, and may Angels forever be at the service of Vatican city. Amen!
